The School of Professional & Continuing Studies at the University of Richmond seeks to fill a faculty vacancy in the area of Nonprofit Studies. The position is a twelve-month, full-time non-tenure track position that includes coordination responsibilities for the certificate and graduate programs in Nonprofit Studies and oversight of the Institute on Philanthropy at the University of Richmond. The initial appointment will be made for a probationary period of up to three years at the Assistant Professor level, to begin as soon as August 1, 2016 but not later than September 1, 2016, with opportunity for subsequent reappointment and advancement in five-year increments. Applicants must have an earned doctorate in the leadership, management, politics, education, healthcare, arts & culture, human and social services, religion or environmental studies focused in the nonprofit sector; a successful record of prior teaching in a higher education setting; administrative experience; demonstrated leadership abilities; and an interest in adult and continuing education.
