Sales Account Representative

Cheng & Tsui, the leading publisher in Asian language and culture textbooks and supplements based in Boston, is seeking individuals with educational sales experience for the position of Sales Account Representative. The inside sales rep will help develop and execute strategic sales plans by contacting K-12 School and Higher Education language teachers, professors, and administrators, as well as resellers, libraries, institutes within their assigned territory to promote and sell our textbooks, supplements, and digital products while branding the company.

Publicity & Marketing Assistant

Fast-growing cookbook and lifestyle publisher, Page Street Publishing Co., distributed by Macmillan, is looking for a bright, detail-oriented, entry-level Publicity & Marketing Assistant. This person will work closely with the publicity and marketing staff to coordinate and support Page Street’s marketing efforts. Responsibilities include processing image and text requests, sending out review copies, drafting sales presentations, coordinating author events and travel and assisting the Publicity and Marketing Director and Publicist. Rights & Media Specialist

As a member of the Rights & Media Department, you will use your strong project management skills to manage copyright clearance for third-party content, oversee image research for author selection, and employ creative problem-solving to generate innovative solutions for representing concepts in an educational environment. Much of your day will be spent meeting with your Product support and Production counterparts about current and upcoming projects, tracking project progress, coordinating tasks with outside vendors, corresponding directly with authors, and negotiating rights with copyright holders.

Product Specialist

We are looking for a Product Specialist to join our team! The Product Specialist will support their assigned discipline(s)/products by managing complex projects and preparing projects for production, interacting with authors, and performing administrative tasks as needed. They will also serve as a resource for their Product team as a whole by coordinating with other departments, facilitating editorial training opportunities for both new hires and current employees, handling inter- and intra-departmental communication, all as needed.

Project Specialist

The Project Specialist oversees production of print and digital products. Accountable to project manager for assigned projects. The role may support Project Managers in working with TPM and T&O stakeholders on digital projects. May be accountable to multiple project managers at a time depending on resource allocation. Is responsible for ensuring that all project team members clearly understand expectations and deliverable deadlines. Is responsible for completing projects on time and on, or under, budget. Is responsible for rolling up budgets to assigned project manager, and post-mortem notes to the BU’s Relationship Manager. Formally reports to an assigned People Manager who is an ongoing resource for career development, goal discussions/updates, performance management and help with workload balancing. Is responsible for filling out midpoint and end-of-project vendor scorecards.

Book Production Assistant
