The position is an Archivist in the archives of the National Wildlife Research Center (NWRC).  The archives is part of the Information Services Project (encompassing the Library, Archives, and Publications Units), which provides information resources and services to the NWRC and the Wildlife Services (WS) Program.   The NWRC is a major organizational unit of the Wildlife Services (WS) Program charged with research in wildlife management problems both in the United States and overseas.  The position is responsible for the organization and maintenance of internal NWRC records, coordinating FOIA responses, and providing information relevant for conducting basic, applied, and developmental research on wildlife management problems to protect agricultural and natural resources from depredation by wildlife.
