Reporting to the Director of Development, Major Gifts at Stanford Law School, the Associate Director of Development, Corporate & Foundation Relations will be responsible for planning and implementing a corporate and foundation fund-raising plan within Stanford Law School. They will operate independently in assigned areas and take responsibility for prospect identification, cultivation and solicitation, proposal development, and coordination of internal support activities. The Associate Director of Development, Corporate & Foundation Relations will collaborate with the law school dean, faculty, law school programs and centers, external relations staff, corporate and foundation representatives, volunteers, and university staff to solicit and close gifts in the range of $100,000 and more from corporations and foundations, while balancing faculty and funder goals, and complying with university research and development policies. They will also partner closely with the SLS major gift team to develop cultivation and engagement strategies for individuals by connecting them with the academic programs and centers.
