Under the direction of the Curator, manages and supervises the care and use of the collections by ensuring proper storage, handling, and conservation techniques. Assists with the physical operation of collection management and the library. Maintains collections’ records and record‐keeping systems in compliance with museum policies. Assists in the operation of the Museum Library. Assists in organizing collections into archival, identifiable locations. Follows institutional procedures for care of collections to American Association of Museum Standards. Prepares customized storage and microclimate storage. Enters and maintains collection information into computer database system.
