The Gender Identity/Expression and Sexual Orientation Resource Center Director is the senior administrator in the department. The Director’s primary responsibilities are to provide direction and oversight for educationally focused programs on issues related to gender identity and sexual orientation to the Washington State University Pullman campus and to collaborate with and support the efforts of other campuses. Direct office operations and personnel; plan, implement, and facilitate GIESORC program assessment and evaluation activities; review the annual campus climate surveys and analyze the data compared to peer institutions; serve as departmental liaison with University system partners; serve as an Ex-Officio member to the President’s Commission on Gender Identity and Sexual Orientation; and provide overall administration, direction, and execution of the GIESORC unit.
