Multicultural Academic Advisor, Retention Specialist | University of Oregon
The Multicultural Academic Advisor/ Retention Specialist reports to the AVP & Director of the Center for Multicultural Academic Excellence. Duties will include serving as the lead academic advisor for Asian & Pacific Islander (API) students on campus, assisting them with academic planning, retention and post-graduation planning; serving as resource for staff and faculty concerning Asian & Pacific Islander issues in higher education; working with faculty and staff on campus to facilitate professional development opportunities for Asian & Pacific Islander students, and other historically underrepresented and underserved students on campus, and working with other academic advisors to promote collaborative educational and professional development opportunities.
