The primary responsibility of the Product Research Consultant is to design, conduct, analyze and report on user-centered design research and usability testing for WeTeachNYC, a new online resource library and professional learning portal developed by the NYC Department of Education for NYC teachers and school leaders, including identification of user needs and goals, task and workflow modeling, field research and persona development as well as rapid iterative usability testing. The Product Development Consultant will work closely with the Product Development Director, Knowledge Sharing, to support the planning and implementation of monthly release cycles for WeTeachNYC.
