This position in Marketing and Communications within the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences is responsible for crafting brand-building copy that elevates the reputation of the college. Develop and edit content for a variety of a mediums and audiences including farmers, consumers, opinion leaders, and key stakeholders. This position will demonstrate impact through content developed for magazines, newsletters, annual reports, websites and social media. As part of the editorial team for the college, the position also will write news releases to promote events, groundbreaking research, and consumer-based information. The position will respond to media inquiries as well as generate ideas to pitch to the media.
