The School of Architecture of the University of Notre Dame is seeking applications and nominations for the following faculty position which will be available on July 1, 2017. Tenure-Track Assistant or Associate Professor (without tenure): Architectural Design with a focus on teaching the classical tradition in design studio, including instruction in classical architectural composition, sustainable and durable building practices, and traditional urban design. In addition to teaching studio, candidates should be prepared to teach a secondary specialty such as visual studies, design theory, building technology, preservation, programming or new town planning. Excellence in research, scholarship or professional practice in the form of a portfolio of built work or other aspects that support professional practice are essential for a trajectory that will lead to promotion to tenure.
