The Assistant Director of College Counseling’s broad responsibility is to assist in the day-to-day operations of the College Counseling Office by playing an integral role in effectively managing the transition from Whitfield to college. The hours of this full-time position are approximately 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. The position provides two vacations during the school year, which coincide with school breaks. While daily summer work is not an expectation, given the demands of the position, work during the summer is both inevitable and expected. Specific summer work will be determined annually on a per-project basis. The Assistant Director of College Counseling reports to the Director of College Counseling.
