The Architecture Program in the College of Architecture seeks highly motivated candidates, versed in the discipline of architecture with a record of combining design teaching with a progressive design research agenda and a solid foundation in the application of design computation in their research. The program wishes to explore the future of design computation and its influence on architecture. The Assistant Professor, tenure-track candidate is expected to teach design studios at undergraduate and graduate levels as well as required courses and seminars / electives in a specific area of expertise. Recommended areas of emphasis within design computation include, but are not limited to, building construction technology, building performance, materials, collaborative workflow, digital fabrication, and advanced geometry modeling.
