The University of Texas – Rio Grande Valley is seeking applicants in the School of Art for a fulltime tenure track Assistant Professor in Art Appreciation to start Fall 2017. The successful applicant duties will include the Art Appreciation Coordinator and will reports directly to the Chair of the Department of Art. Demonstrate expertise in teaching Art Appreciation to large size lecture classes for non-art majors, a humanities core curriculum option. Service in departmental committees and in departmental self-governance is expected.
