The Department of Art and Art History at The University of the South invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position in Art History, at the Assistant Professor level, to begin in the fall term of 2017. The candidate will be expected to offer Asian Survey, Historiography, and upper-division courses in the art, visual culture and/or cinema of at least two of the following five areas: Islamic, Central Asia (Silk Road), South Asia, Southeast Asia, or East Asia.
