This position is intended to strengthen the world history pillar of our existing program. Candidates who specialize in thematic (i.e. Silk Road, empire, religion, Indian Ocean world, etc.) and/or gender history are particularly encouraged to apply. Ability and willingness to develop and teach a broad range of world history courses (including courses on China, Japan, Korea, the Middle East, South Asia, Silk Road, Revolution, etc.) would be a plus.
