The Department of History at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater seeks a tenure-track assistant professor to teach introductory and upper-level courses in Early American history beginning August 2017. Research fields should complement existing faculty expertise and may include any specialization in Early American History. The successful candidate will be able to teach introductory and upper-level courses in Early American history, and a freshman-level modern world history course. The candidate will also be expected to pursue an active research agenda and contribute to campus, professional and public service. Starting date is August 24, 2017. Salary is dependent upon academic preparation and teaching experience.
