The Department of English at Santa Clara University invites applications for a tenure-track position in British Literature of the Long 18th Century, with additional desirable expertise in Digital Humanities. Teaching responsibilities will include introductory and advanced courses in the Long Eighteenth Century (including possibilities such as Jane Austen studies, genre studies, empire studies, Romanticism, book history, print culture and digital approaches to literary studies) as well as first-year critical thinking and writing courses.
