The Department of German seeks an Assistant Professor or Instructor (ABD) for a two-year visiting position beginning September 2017 with a specialization in visual culture and expertise in pedagogical technology. The successful candidate will teach all levels of German including courses in Film and Visual Studies and participate in appropriate interdisciplinary programs at the college. Additional familiarity with discourses on diversity and minorities in Germany is desirable. Native or near-native fluency in German required.
