The Department of Music at SUNY Geneseo is seeking applications for a full-time, tenure-track appointment as Assistant Professor of Music with primary duties in the area of orchestral and wind ensemble conducting. The department offers a B.A. program with majors in Music (Performance Option and History/Theory/Criticism/Composition Option) and Musical Theatre; students from other majors actively participate in ensembles and in a wide variety of general education courses in music. The highly-qualified faculty sustain active profiles in performance and publication; applications are sought from candidates who will enhance the strength of teaching and creative activity that characterizes the department.
