The Curator of the Arts of China and Japan is responsible for the development of this area of the collection, including its documentation, research, preservation, presentation, and growth. An endowed position, the Associate Curator/Curator reports to the Associate Director for Collections, Exhibitions, and Curatorial Affairs, works with other museum curators and educators, develops partnerships with faculty throughout the University, and engages students from all disciplines in learning about the art.
