Christchurch School, one of six schools that make up the Church Schools in the Diocese of Virginia, seeks candidates for the position of chaplain. The chaplain’s primary focus will be pastoral, working with the Dean of Students and the Director of Guidance to provide student support. In addition, the chaplain will teach two theology classes, officiate in weekly morning prayer services, serve on the administrative Community Council, and provide pastoral support to the adult community. We are looking for candidates comfortable working with young people “growing up in an unsteady and confusing world,” who want to listen and counsel and lend a steady presence to our community.
