The Albert S. Cook Library at Towson University is seeking a Library Associate to be responsible for ensuring that library resources are discoverable and accessible by library users. This individual utilizes current library standards and guidelines to catalog e-resources and physical materials in a variety of formats; coordinates with the Library Associate for Electronic Resources to ensure that e-resources are adequately represented, activated, and/or accessible; participates in a range of catalog database maintenance activities; manages the selection, cataloging, and overall coordination of the library’s Leisure Reading Collection; and assists with training staff in department and library as required.
