The Department of Theatre Arts and Performance Studies at Brown University invites applications for an open rank faculty position in Theatre Arts and Performance Studies. We seek a scholar who will join a vibrant department that emphasizes the intersections of scholarship and practice. The ideal candidate will diversify our methodological, geographical, and theoretical strengths. This performance studies scholar could have expertise in performance theories and/or histories in one or more of the following areas of specialty: indigenous, global, and/or diasporic performance; queer theory; neurodiversity; critical race studies; and performance.
