Scholar in Residence: Dance | Middlebury College
The Department of Theatre & Dance invites applicants for a .5 three-year term position in Dance beginning fall 2017. The Scholar in Residence in the Dance Program will be a crucial part time member of the dance faculty. Each successful applicant will teach courses for majors and non-majors and advise majors in the Dance Studies track. In addition s/he may be asked to serve on senior thesis committees. Flexible scheduling and housing subsidy available. The Scholar in Residence will teach two courses per year, attend weekly dance program meetings, and participate in the busy educational and production life of the program. During the term of the appointment the Scholar in Residence may be asked to teach a First Year Seminar or a College Writing course.
