The Department of Language and Literature at Fairmont State University invites applications for a three-year, renewable, temporary assistant professor in English. Primary responsibility will be to teach a 4/4 load. The position requires a generalist with competence as a Medievalist. Preference will be given to candidates with additional competence in Renaissance Literature. Teaching load will include first-year composition and a sophomore literature class. Upper-level classes include Chaucer and the literature of the Middle Ages.
