Upper School Makerspace Facilitator | Cannon School

The Upper School Makerspace Facilitator develops and delivers opportunities for making for students, delivers teacher and student training in the Makerspace, as well as supervises and maintains the Makerspace. The Makerspace Facilitator understands the principles of engineering, design and design thinking and demonstrates a passion and knowledge about the use of technologies to support creative, engaged learning. He/she will serve as a member of the Upper School faculty and the technology team. The Facilitator, in collaboration with educational and information technology teams, facilitates and leads all aspects of technology use in the Upper School academic program as well as other technology initiatives that enhance the day-to-day life of the students and the teachers. It is the Facilitator’s responsibility to ensure that all Upper School planning for technology is coordinated with the other divisions and with the information technology team. This position reports to both the Head of Upper School and the Director of Institutional Technology.
