The VPAA, as chief academic officer of the College, administers the educational programs of the College, exercises visionary leadership in the fulfillment of the educational objectives of the college, and serves as the campus academic leader. As a senior administrative officer, the VPAA reports directly to the President and maintains close liaison with other senior administrators and the Board of Trustees. As Dean of the College, holding academic rank, this person will be responsible for the oversight of all faculty personnel matters, including recruitment, evaluation, development, and compensation; oversight of the curriculum via the College’s governance structure and supervision of the academic divisions and programs.
