The Program in American Studies at Barnard College invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professorship beginning Fall 2017. Applicants should have a PhD in American Studies or a relevant field in hand and should specialize in some combination of the following fields: race, ethnicity and indigeneity, gender and sexuality studies, critical theory, media and visual culture, and/or the history of American social activism.
