The department seeks dynamic scholar-teachers whose teaching, scholarship, and service show potential for substantive, innovative, collaborative interdisciplinary interventions. While disciplinary training and area(s) of research are open, candidates should have experience with community-based participatory action research and social justice scholarship. We are interested in scholar-teachers with expertise in at least one of the following: African American studies, gender & women’s studies, social geography, ethnic studies, environmental justice, or sustainability studies.
