The Department of History of the University at Albany, State University of New York seeks a full-time tenure-track faculty member at the rank of Assistant Professor whose research is focused on late nineteenth- and twentieth-century German history. Candidates will be expected to teach courses on subjects such as German history, modern Europe, World War II, and the candidate’s area of expertise, as well as Western Civilization and World History surveys. Thematic specialization is open, though candidates whose research interests include business/economics, the environment, or race and gender are especially encouraged to apply.
