The Department of Language Studies at the University of Toronto Mississauga invites applications for a 5 year contractually limited term appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor in the area of Italian Studies in one or more of the following fields, with a specialization in Italian Pedagogy: Language Teaching and Learning, Second Language Acquisition, and Sociolinguistics. Demonstrated knowledge in the fields of Semiotics and/or Romance Philology are also an asset.
