The School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation at the University of Maryland, College Park, MD invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in the Urban Studies and Planning Program (URSP). The specialization being sought in this search is Land Use, Transportation and the Environment. We are seeking candidates whose teaching and research emphasize the connection between land use, transportation and the environment, and include foci on one or more of the following: land use and smart growth planning; resilience and hazard mitigation planning; transportation / land use modelling, evaluation of environmental impacts, or related topics.
