The Department of Geography at The Ohio State University is seeking applications for an anticipated tenure track assistant professor beginning autumn 2017. We seek a scholar with the potential to sustain a strong, externally funded research program, advise students and teach courses in social geography with particular focus on urban issues and an emphasis in areas such as social justice, inequality, race, gender, or sexuality. The successful candidate will bring cutting-edge scholarship to the urgent 21st-century issues of urban sustainability, social justice, health, or habitability.
