Evergreen seeks to appoint a full-time faculty member with expertise in the social and cultural history of the United States, emphasizing the history of race, ethnicity, gender, labor and/or sexuality, or the intersections of these fields. The successful candidate will be especially committed to research and teaching (beyond surveys) 18th and 19th century U.S. history. Candidates with expertise in African American history as well as those with experience teaching diverse and underrepresented populations are particularly invited to apply.
