The Department of Religious Studies and the Carter G. Woodson Institute for African American and African Studies are conducting an open-rank search for a joint professorship in Race, Religion and the African Diaspora. We seek candidates whose teaching and research explore the role of religion within black communities in the United States or the wider African Diaspora, and whose work considers the intersection of religion and race on any number of levels-historical, cultural, philosophical, or theological.
