The Social Sciences Department of Henderson State University, Arkansas’ Public Liberal Arts University and a member of the Council of Public Liberal Arts Colleges (COPLAC), invites applications for a tenure-track appointment at the level of Assistant Professor of History. The successful candidate will teach the second half of the World Civilizations survey (from 1660) and upper division courses in both African and Middle Eastern History. Our new colleague will also have expertise and the ability to teach courses in one or more of the following fields: the Islamic world, Asian History, public history, and women’s history.
