The Department of Sociology and Anthropology invites applications for a tenure-track position in sociology or anthropology. Appointment will be made at the Assistant Professor level, and will begin August 2017. The primary teaching responsibilities of this position are courses on race and ethnicity in the United States, as well as our introductory course(s). Preference will be given to applicants who are also able to teach courses in at least two of the following areas: social statistics, inequality, and urban studies.
