Brown University invites applications for a 2-year Mellon Postdoctoral Fellowship on race in science and medicine. We seek an interdisciplinary scholar from the fields of Africana Studies, History of Science and/or Medicine, Religious Studies, Sociology, or Anthropology with specialization in race, medicine, and the legacies of slavery. This position is to be held jointly at the Cogut Center for the Humanities, the Center for the Study of Slavery and Justice (CSSJ) and the Department of Africana Studies, effective July 1, 2017.
